We are humans, hear our stories – Safety of journalists
About the event
The safety of journalists is a critical issue that affects not only the individuals involved but also the broader societal fabric of democracy, transparency, and freedom of expression. It can take different forms, from physical and legal threats to online harassment, political pressures, or censorship.
Following an excerpt from the play They blew her up, which tells the story of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s brutal murder by a car bomb through the point of view of different protagonists related to the event, this session will tackle journalist safety with testimonials from various journalists.
They Blew Her Up – Theatre play written and directed by Herman Grech, a monologue by Alan Paris
