Countering foreign interference in the Western Balkans and beyond
About the event
Over the past decade, foreign interference has become a persistent threat to democratic processes and social cohesion across Europe. These activities exploit societal divisions, marginalise vulnerable groups, and erode trust in media and institutions. Identifying these threats, understanding the tactics and narratives behind them, and mobilising a whole-of-society response are key to mitigating their impact.
This workshop delves into recent cases of foreign interference in the Western Balkans and beyond, highlighting the latest tools and strategies for uncovering these activities and strengthening democratic resilience.
