Benedetta Baldi

Benedetta Baldi is a Full Professor of Glottology and Linguistics at the University of Florence, where she teaches courses on Political Discourse and Linguistic Strategies, Languages, Cultures, and Identities, as well as Semiotics of New Media. Additionally, she is President of the Master’s Degree program in Practices, languages, and cultures of communication, as well as Coordinator of the University Master’s Degree program in Advertising, Communication, and Event Creation.

Furthermore, she holds the position of Vice-President of the Regional Communications Committee of Tuscany and is a Member of the UNESCO Transdisciplinary Chair. Her research interests span across various areas, including the logic and rhetoric of political discourse, media communication, gender studies, and multicultural theories.

Other of her research fields concern language education and the internal structures of languages.
