Mohammed Rafiqui

Mohammed Rafiqui is a well-known Moroccan intellectual and doctoral researcher in Islamic studies, particularly on religious reform and legal issues related to religion. He is a former Salafist preacher who was convicted in Morocco for seven years, sentenced as a member of an Islamic terrorist group, and later pardoned by the King of Morocco. Among other positions, he is currently advisor to the Moroccan Minister of Justice and President of the Scientific Research Committee of the World Informatics and Security Organization (CISEG) in Barcelona.
