Cristiano Lucchi, professional journalist and media activist, is the editor-in-chief of Fuori Binario, a newspaper for homeless people, published in Florence by Periferie al Centro ODV. The newspaper guarantees a subsistence income to those who sell it on the streets and offers readers information and critical tools to understand and address the structural, political, economic and cultural causes of poverty and social exclusion.

He writes for the online magazine La città manifesta, published by the political laboratory perUnaltracittà. Previously, he founded and edited Altracittà – a newspaper for the suburbs.

He has collaborated with various publications, including Lo Straniero, Diario, l’Unità, Il Manifesto, Liberazione, Il Fatto Quotidiano, Carta, Narcomafie, Controradio and Novaradio. For Nuovi Mondi, he wrote “Autopsia della politica italiana” and ”L’imbroglio energetico”. He edited ”Il Laboratorio per la democrazia. La politica dal basso” for Edizioni l’Altracittà.
