Laura Rahm is a political sociologist and demographer specializing in global governance and gender equality. She is currently a Policy Leader Fellow at the School of Transnational Governance in Florence and an Associate Researcher at the Centre for Population and Development in Paris. Her research examines how knowledge, data, and policy interact to shape gender equality outcomes. She focuses on knowledge transfer, sustainable development, and public policies related to gender, population, and health. Laura has collaborated extensively with international organizations on monitoring and evaluation and has served as a Reference Group Member for a UN-wide evaluation synthesis on gender equality. Her work bridges academia and policy practice, exploring how evidence can amplify marginalized voices and inform more inclusive development agendas.
