Sotiris Sideris is an investigative data journalist, editor, lecturer and AI researcher based in Athens, specializing in cross-border investigations and data-driven accountability reporting.

He works with Reporters United and the Center for Collaborative Investigative Journalism (CCIJ), leading investigations that use data and computational methods to uncover political, corporate and institutional wrongdoing.

A 2025–2026 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, he researched how AI can strengthen investigative journalism. His work has appeared in ICIJ, Investigate Europe, Mediapart and Tagesspiegel. He teaches journalism, data and digital methods with collaborations in Europe, Africa and US.
