One might think that no one would want to return to a war-torn city, but home is where your roots are.

Against the advice of friends and family, Ghadeer, a young journalist from Mosul who fled to Belgium during the ISIS occupation, decides to return. He gives up a promising future in Europe to dedicate himself to the social and cultural rebuilding of his country.

His goal is to create an independent radio station that will broadcast messages of social cohesion and a rejection of violence. Along with his team, he faces countless obstacles in their attempt to heal the soul of a city devastated by war—both physically and socially—and come up with creative strategies to make the project financially sustainable. Will the voice of Radio One FM be strong enough to spark the changes its founders dream of, or will the old system prevail once again?
