Between vexatious lawsuits and physical attacks, the financial difficulties of publishers and the job insecurity faced by professionals, is there still room for free information in Italy? In what ways, forms, and with which sources? Can other perspectives and formats reach places where traditional journalism no longer does? What are the new tools for finding and telling the news, shedding light on the hidden corners of power, and representing the plurality of society and the diversity of opinions?
