Alessandro Cisilin, an anthropologist, journalist, and podcaster, works at Italy’s leading radio news agency (Area). He previously served as Brussels correspondent for Liberazione and later collaborated, among others, with Il Fatto Quotidiano.

Among his publications, including academic work, is a book on media concentration in Italy. In addition to his other roles, he worked for several years with The Left Group in the European Parliament, taught radio journalism at La Sapienza University, and served as spokesperson for the European Union Mission in Ukraine.
