Catherine Cornet is a researcher and journalist specializing in Middle Eastern politics and culture. She has collaborated with the Italian magazine Internazionale for 20 years, where she monitors and comments on Arab media and society. Cornet obtained her PhD from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris and from Rome University II, and her master’s degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. She collaborates with various media outlets and television networks in France and Italy and teaches Middle Eastern history and politics at Sciences Po Paris and the American University of Rome.
