Lorenzo Balgioni is a Florentine singer, actor, and author. After graduating in mathematics from the University of Florence and teaching in high schools for a few years, in 2012 he decided to focus full-time on the world of theatre and entertainment. In February 2018, he participated in the 68th Sanremo Festival, finishing fourth in the ‘Nuove Proposte’ category.

The video clip of ‘Il Congiuntivo’ got more than 10 million views on Facebook and YouTube. The song gained the attention of the press, got mentions from important artists (including Fiorello), and was cited by the Accademia della Crusca.

In 2019, Lorenzo also wrote a song to explain what European Union is on the occasion of the EU elections.
