Matthew Caruana Galizia
Matthew Caruana Galizia is the director of the Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation.
He previously worked at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), where he played a crucial role in developing the technology that facilitated major investigations such as the ‘Panama Papers’ and ‘Paradise Papers’. In 2018, Matthew parted ways with ICIJ to focus on the ongoing case surrounding the killing of his mother, Daphne Caruana Galizia, who was assassinated in 2017 due to her investigations into corruption in Malta.
Since then, Matthew Caruana Galizia and his family have been tirelessly working to combat impunity and uncover the truth about Daphne’s death.
