Nina Krapić
Sr. Nina Krapić is a communication expert at the Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See.
She coordinates the Pentecost Project, a global initiative dedicated to training religious sisters in communication and equipping them to tell the stories from the margins of society. Through this initiative, sisters share their work combating human trafficking, supporting women and children in urban slums and remote regions, accompanying migrants and refugees, serving in war zones, promoting peace, advancing sustainable development, and running schools and hospitals that provide education and healthcare worldwide.
Nina is a PhD researcher in Social Communication at the Pontifical Gregorian University, where her research focuses on communication of political and religious influencers in the online environment, with particular attention to celebrity populism and the concept of authenticity.
She specialized in Public Relations at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb and holds a Master of Laws from the Faculty of Law at the University of Rijeka.
She has a background in journalism and legal support for survivors of violence and other marginalized communities.
