As the Managing Director of Omroep Zwart Tarik is navigating the complex challenges off the political and societal landscapes, reshaping policies to strengthen the position of the public broadcasting in the Netherlands. His leadership extended to roles such as Director of Cultural Affairs for the Municipality of Utrecht, as Director of the HKU Media Faculty and Director of Operations and Finance at Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam, where he drove strategic development, organisational growth, and cross-sector collaboration. A dynamic public speaker, programme maker, and presenter (NTR/NPS), Tarik has hosted influential shows like Hoop of Sloop and De Tafel van Babel, amplifying underrepresented voices.
