Growing up online: Key tools for parents (and children!)
About the event
Digital technology is now part of childhood, and families are learning on the fly how to live, learn and talk together around screens. This session brings together young people, researchers, media and policymakers to share practical, everyday ways parents and children can build trust, awareness and autonomy online. How can parents really support their kids? What makes a healthy digital routine? And with new rules on age verification and social media bans on the table, the panel asks a hard question: is banning children from social media an effective way to protect them? Join us to hear concrete tips for families, and to get a frank look at the responsibilities of media and lawmakers.
This session will be available in English and Greek.
Our speaker lineup is still growing. Names will be announced soon.
