Abdullah Al Shammary is a naturalized Greek citizen, humanitarian worker, interpreter, refugee-site support worker and caregiver for unaccompanied minors.

He has over ten years of experience in the humanitarian field, beginning in Moria, Mytilene in 2015, and later working in Idomeni during one of the region’s most intense refugee crises.

He has supported refugees and migrants in camps across Greece through various Greek and international organizations. Abdullah worked to obtain Greek citizenship, learning the language, culture and history while navigating integration and bureaucracy. Now, he supports teenagers in semi-independent living programs, helping them build confidence and stability.
