Joseph Beaudreau is a doctoral candidate at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle and serves as an Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Pléiade laboratory, Université Sorbonne Paris Nord. Joseph is also acting as treasurer of Savoir*Devenir. Contributing to the critical discourse on contemporary information disorders, he specialises in fact-checking, disinformation, and the political economy of communication. He was a lead researcher in European Erasmus+ project ‘Fact-checking’ that mapped the state of disinformation studies in Europe and devised an online training course.
