Policy roundtable: Safeguarding media pluralism in the algorithmic era
About the event
Given the unique opportunity presented by the Festival, which will gather a diverse group of policymakers and stakeholders in the media sector, this roundtable will provide an excellent platform to discuss the challenges to media pluralism in Europe from a policy perspective.
The roundtable will focus on identifying policy solutions that can be broadly supported in order to preserve media pluralism, especially in light of the challenges posed by the online environment, artificial intelligence and current geopolitical tensions in defining media itself.
