Alexiane Lerouge is a journalist at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Europe’s largest alliance of public service media. She heads the EBU’s networked newsroom, A European Perspective, working on cross-border editorial collaboration and newsroom innovation, with particular attention to the ethical use of AI in journalism.

Before joining the EBU in 2023, she worked as a Norway-based correspondent and data journalist focused on accountability reporting and transparency. She is based in Brussels.

Within the Voices Festival, she helps shape discussions on AI in newsrooms and on freedom of information in Europe
