Evann Hislers
Currently a Master’s student in Journalism at Sciences Po, Evann Hislers took a gap year to learn programming at École 42. Based in Paris, he has completed several internships in national newsrooms and data journalism agencies, focusing primarily on AI and automation.
Recognizing that learning to code takes years while newsrooms’ technical needs are immediate, he launched vibecodingforjournalists.com. The site introduces “vibe coding” – using AI as a development assistant – to help journalists gain technical autonomy.
The goal is not to replace developers, but to enable journalists to build their own internal tools, interactive formats, or explore databases more effectively. Evann is also the author of a book on AI for students.
