Ilaria is a journalist and a thoracic surgery resident. She won the Voices Festival Award and the narrative journalism prize at the Festivaletteratura of Mantova with her podcast project “Il Sale di Penelope.” A selected member of the International School of Science Journalism in Erice, Ilaria also serves as a Digital Ambassador for DigitalEu, European Commission. She plays an active role in promoting cultural heritage and the environment within the team of the Italian Youth Association for UNESCO. Additionally, she is the co-author of several podcasts, including “Generazione Covid” for Editoriale Domani, “Idee geniali” for Il Sole 24 Ore, and “Le cento stanze” for SkyTG24.
