Marina Sapia is Chief World News for RAI Direzione Editoriale and In Mezz’Ora RAI 3. She previously led the international desk at RAI Tg1 and at Rainews,,the allnews channel of Rai. She recently produced investigations about the crisis in Haiti and war for minerals in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She produced long form reportages about migrant routes through Niger and Mauritania and inside the US prison of Guantanamo. She started with the Associated Press TV, covering Italy, the Vatican and Europe. Marina graduated in Mass Communication and African politics at the University of Bologna. She has been lecturer in international media studies for journalism schools and the University of Sant’Anna of Pisa.
