Matija Matković is a Croatian TV journalist and a student at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. He works at the Croatian public broadcaster (HRT), primarily covering cultural topics, and at Student Television, where he explores a variety of subjects.

His short documentary Far From Home, which examines the experiences of foreign workers in Croatia, earned him the highest academic accolades – the Rector’s Award, as well as the award for Best Investigative Story at an international media festival in Novi Sad.
