Nicola Zolin

Nicola Zolin is a photojournalist and writer working for the main newspapers and magazines worldwide. He earned a BA in Mass Communication (Padua-The Hague) and a MSc in International Relations (Venice-Beijing). In his work, he explored the world of youth in the Middle East and Europe, migration, environmental conflicts in Latin America, and social and cultural transformations in Asia. He lived and worked in Turkey, Greece, China, India, Brazil, and Italy. For the past 8 years he contributed to De Volkskrant with reportages from all over the world. His work has also been published in The New York Times, Der Spiegel, Le Monde, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Stern, GEO, Liberation, Foreign Policy, 6MOIS, El País, Aftenposten, Courrier International, La Repubblica, Il Corriere della Sera, amongst others.

 

Nicola published three books: ‘I passeggeri della Terra’ for Polaris (2016), ‘U paese è mondo intero for Prospero’ (2020), and ‘Yunan’, self-published (2022).
