Andreas Lamm (Managing Director) is a member of the management team at the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) and has been part of the centre since its foundation in 2015. He is responsible for developing and implementing long-term strategy, project development and organisational management. In his daily work, he interacts with media professionals, political actors and academics to jointly develop protection mechanisms for media professionals in Europe. A particular focus of his work is on local journalism, which he closely monitors as a key area of activity for the ECPMF. Andreas Lamm holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies, American Studies and Psychology from the University of Leipzig.
