Evie Kenny is a 17-year climate activist based in Dublin, Ireland. She is the host of the RTE JR podcast Ecolution (RTÉjr is an Irish free-to-air children’s television channel operated by state-owned broadcaster RTÉ). Her passion for environmental issues comes from a deep love for the planet and a strong connection with her mother. Evie and her mum, from a young age, engaged in beach cleans, litter picks, and protests. Climate activism and involvement in her wider community are at the centre of her agenda.

Outside of her activism, she enjoys sea swimming, reading, baking, and spending time with her loved ones and large family. For Evie, it is crucial to raise awareness about the importance of caring for our planet, the responsible consumption of resources, and giving young people a voice in the media that they consume.
