
Melita Vrsaljko
Melita Vrsaljko is a journalist with more than ten years experience working in the Croatian media. While studying journalism at the Faculty of Political Science (Zagreb), she started working for non-profit and independent news outlets. After graduation in 2018, she continued her career as a TV journalist at the Al Jazeera Balkans. Currently she is working for Faktograf Association, the publisher of news outlets Faktograf and the Climate portal. In 2024 she received the “Velebitska Degenija” award of the Croatian Journalists’ Association for environmental journalism. She is the director of the award-winning short documentary “Knin-Zadar” (Dinaridi film, 2023). Vrsaljko covers climate change, pollution, climate policy and human rights. Lives in Nadin, small village in the South of Croatia.
