Petra Kovačević (PhD) is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Journalism & Media Production, University of Zagreb. She holds a PhD from Cardiff University’s School of Journalism, Media & Culture, where she researched solutions-focused journalism at the BBC. Her research interests include emerging journalistic practices such as constructive journalism and solutions journalism, the culture of newsroom experimentation, innovative and interactive storytelling techniques, and journalistic content aimed at young audiences, with a particular focus on TV and video production. Petra teaches video and multimedia production and is also a freelance journalist, an accredited solutions journalism trainer, and a certified mobile journalism trainer.
