Dario Dalmacija is a Croatian journalist, video producer and founder of The Video Lab, a Zagreb-based production company focused on digital storytelling and branded content. He began his career at Index.hr, one of Croatia’s leading news portals, where he worked as a reporter covering major political and social events, including national elections and the 2015–2016 migration crisis. In 2017, he founded and led the portal’s video department, launching native video formats and original digital shows that opened new revenue streams and reshaped the outlet’s multimedia strategy.

Today, through The Video Lab, he develops and produces editorial and commercial video formats for regional and international clients, combining journalism, strategy and cinematic storytelling. He is also the creator of Park Atlas, an independent multimedia project exploring urban parks as spaces of memory, identity and everyday life.

His work focuses on the intersection of media innovation, audience engagement and meaningful digital narratives.
